Forest entomologists and insect ecologists from across the world are meeting in Quebec City, Canada to discuss latest research findings and ideas on forest insect ecology and management. Insect disturbances, combined with human interactions and interventions, are creating uncertainties about the future of forests worldwide. These disturbances, often mediated by climate change can amplify feedbacks to the global climate system.
