The main aim of the workshop is to provide a forum for discussion between young researchers involved in the project and renowned HOMED senior scientists who can provide their expert advice and mentoring. The mentors of the second workshop were project coordinator Prof. Herve Jactel of INRAE, France, and Prof. Andrea Battisti of the University of Padova, Italy.
Various topics were discussed within the workshop, including research methodology, networking, and HOMED developments, and future directions. The workshop proceeded as an informal roundtable, and fostered a lively discussion between students and mentors.
